SmartTech served as the local subcontractor to an international tower supplier, undertaking local project execution from initial site surveys through installation and handover.
Surveyed all 76 sites and prepared a layout for each. Received and unloaded containerized tower materials, arranged central storage and handling, and organized materials by tower and delivery area. Coordinated transport to the sites through a contracted transport company.
Undertook civil works, tower erection, painting and earthing. Installed radio equipment where it was available within the site work; equipment installation at other sites was completed separately by the customer. Carried out tower commissioning and prepared project acceptance documentation and handover certificates within the installation scope.
The engagement covered 76 towers over approximately two and a half years. SmartTech contracted with the international supplier. The scope described here concerns tower and site delivery; it does not claim responsibility for commissioning the complete communications network.

SmartTech’s maintenance record covers approximately 50 communication towers across separate engagements. Work varied with tower type and the condition of its components.
Restoration could include complete dismantling, paint removal, rust treatment, replacement of corroded parts, galvanizing treatment and repainting. Work also included replacement of guy wires and, where condition required, anchors.
Restoration was carried out on the standing structure, working section by section. Treatment and component replacement were determined by the condition and agreed scope.
